For this fondue you need either burning oil or burning paste.
Always make sure you place the fondue set on a stable heat resistant surface.
To fasten the heating process you can heat up the pot at a medium temperature on the cooker first.
Safety warning: grease is self-igniting at high temperatures. Never pour water into the grease. Never over fill a fondue burner and wipe up any spilled alcohol or fuel paste immediately. Keep fondues and burning alcohol or fuel paste out of reach of children. Always let a fondue cool off before storing it away.
Extra tip: add a drop of olive oil to the hot chocolate to avoid lumps.

I recieved this fondue set for a review. I heated up some chocolate syrup for dipping fresh fruit and pound cake after our Valentine’s dinner. The chocolate heated up quickly and we all enjoyed it. Nice little fondue set!
