For this fondue you need either burning oil or burning paste.

Always make sure you place the fondue set on a stable heat resistant surface.

To fasten the heating process you can heat up the pot at a medium temperature on the cooker first.

Safety warning: grease is self-igniting at high temperatures. Never pour water into the grease. Never over fill a fondue burner and wipe up any spilled alcohol or fuel paste immediately. Keep fondues and burning alcohol or fuel paste out of reach of children. Always let a fondue cool off before storing it away.

This fondue works with a candle instead of a burner, because chocolate burns easily.

Tip: add a drop of olive oil to the hot chocolate to avoid lumps.
